BARDENAS REALES

Casa Senda Bardenas accommodation is very close situated to the Natural Park Bardenas. This spectacular setting of over 103,78 acres, has been considered part of the Biosphere Reserve. There are different routes to be done. Cycling or walking are good ways to get out and about Bardenas Park. You can also drive through certain routes. You will also have the option to hire segways, 4x4 or even horse ride!

We can distinguish three areas:

Bardena Blanca

You will be able to visit Castildetierra, La Raya and El Rayon, typical examples of semi-desert landscape typical of this area.

Farther north is El Vedado de Eguaras, where you’ll be able to see the remaining ruins of Peñaflor Castle.

El Plano

This is the area that lies further north. The monument El Pastor or El Ferial Reservoir are ideal places to visit.

Bardena Negra

This area is situated in the southern part of Bardenas. Forests of pine and olive trees are typical in this area.
